In November 2018, Two world leaders in parking solutions entered into exlcusive negotiations, Swedish-based Cale and French-based Parkeon. The combination will create the leading global technology company for enabling urban mobility.
In over 70 countries and across 5,000 cities clients rely on Cale’s and Parkeon’s parking systems for payment solutions and services. The year ending June 30 2017, Cale and Parkeon recorded revenues of 200 million€ (approximately 344 million AUD) and 70 million€ (approximately 110 million AUD) respectively. The combined group targets double-digit revenue growth for the upcoming 12 months.
In January 2018, Negotiations between Cale and Parkeon were finalised. Cale and Parkeon systems will continue to be offered in order to ensure a smooth and seamless merging process for customers and end-users. The new group’s name will be announced in the near future.
The combined group plans to increase investments in its ongoing digital transformation and leverage on its global customer base with over 100 million weekly end-users.
